1️⃣ Verrado in Buckeye — Upscale & Popular with Small-Town Charm
If you want a neighborhood that feels like its own little world, Verrado is it. Located in Buckeye, Arizona, Verrado is a master-planned community that blends modern luxury with small-town charm.
Picture tree-lined streets, 86 parks, a walkable main street full of shops and restaurants, and five highly rated schools. It’s the kind of place where neighbors wave hello and community events fill your calendar.
For outdoor lovers, Verrado offers 26+ miles of hiking and biking trails, two championship golf courses, and the Victory at Verrado active adult community (complete with its own vineyard).
Why I Love Verrado:
Strong community feel
Architectural variety with mountain and golf course views
Family-friendly, quiet, and beautifully designed
Excellent long-term value
If you want modern luxury, open space, and a sense of community, Verrado deserves to be on your shortlist.
2️⃣ Estrella Mountain Ranch in Goodyear — Up-and-Coming Luxury Foothills Living
When I first moved to Arizona, Goodyear was quiet. Fast-forward to today, and it’s one of the fastest-growing cities in the nation — with new businesses, restaurants, and entertainment on the rise.
At the heart of Goodyear’s growth is Estrella Mountain Ranch, a master-planned community nestled in the Sierra Estrella Mountains.
Here, you’ll find two scenic lakes, 65 miles of trails, and over 50 community parks. You can kayak, paddle boat, or stroll along the water — all with desert mountain views in the background.
Estrella also has two residents clubs, a private golf club, and its own active adult community called CantaMia.
Why I Love Estrella Mountain Ranch:
Beautiful lakes and mountain scenery
Resort-style amenities and clubs
Quiet but vibrant lifestyle
Huge growth and appreciation potential
The only tradeoff? It’s about a 20–25 minute drive to a major freeway — but in my opinion, it’s absolutely worth it for what you get.
3️⃣ Roosevelt Row in Downtown Phoenix — Urban Luxury Meets Creative Energy
This next one even surprised me: Roosevelt Row, or the RoRo District, in Downtown Phoenix.
If you love urban energy, walkability, and artsy vibes, this neighborhood is incredible. It’s one of the fastest-developing urban areas in the Valley, with a mix of historic bungalows, modern condos, and luxury townhomes with rooftop terraces.
Roosevelt Row is known for its murals, art galleries, boutique coffee shops, and local breweries — think Austin or Denver vibes, but with more sun and better year-round weather.
Why I Love Roosevelt Row:
True city-living experience in the heart of Phoenix
Historic charm meets modern architecture
Walkable lifestyle close to major employers
Strong property appreciation due to limited inventory
It’s not your typical “luxury” area like Scottsdale or Arcadia, but it offers urban luxury living with personality and serious investment potential.
4️⃣ Deer Valley in North Phoenix — The Hidden Gem with Big Upside
Last but not least, Deer Valley is a hidden gem that’s quietly transforming.
Located in North Phoenix, this area is experiencing major growth thanks to employers like TSMC and USAA, new infrastructure, and luxury developments.
Deer Valley offers mountain views, newer builds, and modern communities — all at a price point that’s far more accessible than central Phoenix or Scottsdale.
Why I Love Deer Valley:
Affordable entry into luxury living
Surrounded by nature and recreation areas
Easy access to major highways (I-17, Loop 101)
Positioned for strong long-term appreciation
If you want new construction, lifestyle convenience, and equity growth, Deer Valley is one to watch.
Final Thoughts
Phoenix isn’t just growing — it’s evolving. Whether you’re drawn to small-town charm, mountain scenery, urban energy, or future appreciation, there’s a neighborhood here that fits your lifestyle.
